Nature Heals !
Hello! I'm Andréane but everyone calls me Andie. Thank you for stopping by!
I am originally from a very small town east of Québec City along the St-Lawrence River. Oui, je parle aussi français! Almost 20 years ago, I made the move to Northern Ontario where I currently reside. Photography has always been an interest of mine since I was a teenager. In 2011, I started a small portrait photography business that led me to opening my very own studio in 2014. I loved the creative ventures I took on during that time.
Earlier this year, I decided to focus on wildlife photography as a means to deal with grief from losing my soul dog Dante, in June 2023. He and I spent a lot of time walking in the bush, we even had the chance to see 2 bobcats together! At first, the goal was to get me out of the house, in nature where my heart felt a bit lighter. But it quickly became a passion. Learning about local wildlife and being able to photograph and share all this beauty has helped make me feel better. Quite often, I find myself in complete awe at what I have the chance to witness and photograph. Sometimes, I just sit and watch, holding my camera in my lap, being in the moment and letting nature do its thing around me. It makes me smile.
Nature heals. There is so much beauty out there, here's the little bit of it I can share with you!
